About Legend Bridal
Legend Bridal will be 14 years old this year, but we started out on this journey much earlier than that. Rachel has been working full time in the wedding industry since graduating from fashion in 2002 and grew through the positions until she was running the sewing rooms for a chain of traditional bridal shops. In that time it was unheard of to express any kind of individuality in your wedding. You either had the big traditional white wedding, or you didn’t.
Fast forward a few years to when I was planning my own wedding in 2005 and there was no way I was wearing any shade of white. I hadn’t worn anything but black since I was 13 so the idea of wearing anything else was so uncomfortable, it would have been enough to put me off getting married. We knew there must be other people out there experiencing the same thing, so we started showing up with our darker take on bridalwear.
In 2011 we were asked to showcase at Manchester fashion week, and the first ‘Legend’ collection was created. Then in 2013 we decided to completely move away from traditional weddings to focus on Legend Bridal… and we have never looked back. Creating what we love for couples who totally get our aesthetic and feel seen is absolutely incredible. And it finally feels like the bridal industry is finally catching up.

It all begins with an idea. We have a studio in Darwen, Lancashire, where you can try on any of our collection dresses and accessories and where we host consultations and fittings.
Our designs are also available from our website where to make to order and ship all over the world.

Our leas time is generally 12 months, but it is always worth getting in touch if you do have a shorter timescale to discuss the options.
Capes, veils and accessories have a much shorter timescale of 3 months.

If you are interested in trying on our gowns the size of each sample can be found in the product description of our website, along with a copy of our size chart.
Our samples range from size 10 to size 30. Our collection can be ordered in sizes 6 to 30 as standard but we also offer bespoke sizing if that is something you would prefer.

Our collection dresses typically range between £1800 to £3000. Bespoke designs start at £2000
