Music, Magic & a Touch of the Macabre

It’s just 7 days since we hosted the Gothic Luxe Wedding Fair in one of the North’s most breath-taking venues

The Venue: Rochdale Town Hall

There are few spaces quite as awe-inspiring as Rochdale Town Hall. As soon as vendors and guests alike stepped through the doors, you could see it on their faces — that sense of wonder as they took in the high ceilings, intricate gothic architecture, and sweeping staircase. It was the perfect backdrop for a celebration of love, creativity, and everything gloriously alternative.

We had an incredible day and just wanted to share a little bit more about everyone that came together to make this such an amazing event.

Before we go any further, we would like to thank Olivia J Photography for capturing the day for us and for sending over these images in such a short space of time - Every image in this blog is Liv’s and they really show how incredible the day was!Collaborative Displays

Dark Botanical: On the day styling and florals - Maddison Rocks Floral, Stationery - WOW wedding stationery, Cake & Cookies - The Cake Baroness, Framed Image - Vicky Dubois Photography, Outfit - Legend Bridal

One of the most celebrated aspects of the day were the collaborative displays created by our incredible vendors. As you came into the Great Hall, the first thing you saw (after the amazing venue) was the main collaborative display based on the Dark Botanical shoot, bringing together several of the show vendors. The space was an artwork in itself — bringing together florals, décor, stationery, cakes, and more to show couples how bold, dark, and beautiful a wedding can be when creative suppliers collaborate.

The Experience

This wasn’t just a wedding fair — it was an immersive experience. Guests were treated to live music throughout the day by our incredible artists; Aelvenharp, Discodia and Lorna Adams, not to mention Metal Monkey in between times. The hall was filled with soft, ethereal melodies, along side spine-tingling renditions of metal classics and movie soundtracks.

As visitors explored the show, models drifted gracefully through the venue in gorgeous gowns from our two featured bridal designers; Legend Bridal and Caroline Versallion Bridal, their looks brought to life by Katie Gale Bridal, Sira Rose MUA and KPA Artistry, the talented makeup artists showcasing their skills on the day. It was like stepping into a moving editorial — inspiration was literally walking past you.

The Unexpected Guest Stars

And yes — there were snakes. Because what’s a TilDeath wedding fair without a little something wild and wonderfully weird?

Gratitude & Next Steps

We are endlessly grateful to every single supplier who brought their vision and creativity to life, and to every couple who came through the doors. You are the reason we do this — and seeing you discover new ideas and connections is what makes this event so magical.
