Alternative wedding stylist, floral & stationery designer

Are you looking for wedding styling which represents your love of all things dark & gothic?!

Perhaps you are fed up with seeing the same ‘white wedding’ flowers and stationery designs and want something that reflects who you are as a couple? As an alternative wedding stylist, floral & stationery designer - this is where I can help! I’m passionate about helping couples have the darker wedding day they have been dreaming about, whilst still making it look classy & beautiful at the same time. It’s your wedding day - have it YOUR way!

About me…

Hi, I’m Becky of Foxglove & Black and I’m an alternative wedding stylist, floral & stationery designer in the UK.

After getting married myself in 2019, I realised there didn’t seem to be much choice for couples who wanted their wedding styled differently to the typical ‘white wedding’. Your special day should reflect who you are, but everything seemed to be the same with no personality. I also became obsessed with flowers and how creative a wedding could be! I’d been working in the Graphic design industry for over 15 years and although there were elements of it I enjoyed, I never really felt that it was the correct job for me. Sure there were things I loved about it such as working to a theme, the creativity and especially layout, but something was missing and that was YOU! I’ve always loved meeting new people and was longing to find a career where I could help others. And now I can! Knowing I’ve played a small part in making someone’s special day absolutely perfect, is the BEST feeling!

Too many people have an opinion when it comes to a wedding. especially if it has a theme that doesn’t fit the traditional, cookie cutter wedding style. A lot of people say that a themed or gothic wedding day will look tacky and this is another reason why i started working as an alternative wedding stylist - to prove them wrong! There is NO reason why your wedding can’t look classic and beautiful whatever your theme! I have a big imagination when it comes to ideas, which i’m sure is helped by the fact that I love anything gothic or fantasy myself. I adore being creative thinking of all those quirky little details and then bringing the whole look together with the colour palette and decor items. I get to be creative and work with your amazing ideas - seriously I just LOVE what I do!

And hey, if you are looking for someone to design your wedding flowers, I can do that too! I am professionally trained so can provide everything from your ceremony flowers, table centrepieces and bridal bouquets, to smaller items such as buttonholes. I can also design and provide your stationery, saving you the time of dealing with multiple suppliers and also ensuring that all visual elements of your wedding day tie in perfectly.

So, if you are looking for something darker when it comes to your wedding styling, flowers or stationery, then please do drop me a message!
